Yesterday I Decided Productivity Needed Me Offline

Lately my production online has absolutely skyrocketed. Hooray for small miracles! I tell myself that I’m actively following through on my goals of content building and audience growing.

So, why would I switch it up?

Old habits never die, and in actuality, I love freewriting and editing drafts on colored notepads, graph paper, post-its, and even napkins.

Today I drifted with the cosmos, following the pull offline this time, intentionally knowing that I could take the productivity up a notch through what I know really works.

Getting all the way offline to actual paper!

I never wrote a cosmoscope on any platform, barely tweeted, and had the tv off for most of the day — because yes it’s my prerogative, but I was inspired to work in the old fashioned way of writing and editing offline that has long served me with great success.

I love the idea of the pen to paper, editing my words to get to the clearest thoughts possible on pretty cosmically high-level stuff.

I’ve read and written my entire life. I was also closely nurtured and raised by not only a female genius techie, but a truly avid reader and lover of knowledge who showed me the necessity of the on/offline balance of living, learning, and thriving. Readers and writers are actually everywhere on both sides of my family.

I greatly enjoy being offline, hard to account for and most of all when I’m writing. I mean look I’m a Taurus and so I truly believe in completion. I’m also driven like hell as a born Moon AND Mercury in Aries.

But those who know me they know too that as a high sensory channel, I’m deeply in tune with the universe and the regular shifts of the moon that enable productive peaks and other behavioral leanings that after years and decades, I just know what to expect in myself. I know how to navigate the unavoidable cosmic pulls of moons, void of course wobbles, and background planetary movements in and out of signs.

That all makes me sound like a bit of a real astro nerd, but I just have concrete goals that must be accomplished. And plus I’ve studied the planetary shifts and how we can all become affected since age 11.

I know how best to harness the energy in the ways that I can enjoy and be proud of myself.

Writing offline I felt proud and even more, I felt great; coming alive all over.

I’ll likewise admit that having the ability to do more with the Moon currently in Gemini meant I ended the day quite proud of the accomplishment of focus, follow through, massive downloading in writing, and actually being offline and dedicated to my craft as well as handling tons of things around the house.

I often turn into two people and more with the checklist of things to do when that Gemini light beams in.

When you do what you love, interruptions are/should be rare; at least for me because I’m finishing a long overdue project that could be a real game changer.

Who cares about being seen, heard, or found online when you write more in the ways that bring delight and are able to get more done hiding in the landscape of your mind and written words?

Writing is a freedom, writing is also very much a gift we all should not only cherish but guard close with making time in order to prevent delaying the creative genius.

We all have it, all the time.

So hey, next time your writing needs an upgrade try to get offline and write disconnected from the worldwide masses.

Your eyes, your heart, your stress levels, your soul and well your battery life (with whatever digital tool you use to write) will collectively thank you for choosing different that similarly delights.
